German Jan Frodeno captured the gold medal in the Men’s Triathlon in one hour, 48 minutes and 53.28 seconds. Canadian Simon Whitfield had silver with a timing of one hour, 48 minutes and 58.47 seconds, Bevan Docherty of New Zealand landed bronze with one hour, 49 minutes and 5.59 seconds timing.

Emma Snowsill of Australia clocked a timing of 1 hour 58 minutes and 27 seconds to win the Women’s Triathlon gold, defeating Vanessa Fernandes of Portugal. Snowsill’s teammate Emma Moffatt landed bronze.
