Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh, Beach Volleyball Women Champs [Beach Volleyball]

Defending Beach Volleyball champions, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh of the United States, defeated Tian Jia and Wang Jie of China 21-18 and 21-18 to capture the Olympic gold medal on 21th August 2008.

Chinese Zhang Xi and Xue Chen took bronze.

US Advances To Beach Volleyball Final [Beach Volleyball]

Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor of the United States defeated Renata Ribeiro and Talita Rocha of Brazil 2-0 in the Beach Volleyball semifinal held at Chaoyang Park Beach Volleyball Ground on 19th August 2008. The win means the US team will advance to the gold medal final match against China’s Wang Jie and Tian Jia on Thursday, 21st August.
