Japan’s Crown Prince at the Olympics?

Japan’s Crown Prince Naruhito and his wife “Princess Masako” are invited by China to attend the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008. No official invitation came out from the Chinese government but there were talks regarding this worthy visit.
The move would be the latest in a series of efforts by the neighbors to improve bilateral ties, beset by disagreements over wartime history, territorial disputes and competition for natural resources.
The presence of the Crown Prince at China’s Olympics is significant as it means that China and Japan are developing are a better relationship and it’ll show the world what’s history is history.
