Visa ATMs Go Porcelain, Qing Hua Ci Styled
News July 15th, 2008
Visa, the official worldwide sponsor of the Beijing Olympic Games, has launched 26 ATM kiosks that are based on the artwork found on Chinese porcelain vases (闈掕姳鐡, Qing Hua Ci).
Twenty-six new look ATM kiosks will be installed specially for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The artwork on the ATM kiosks has been inspired by Chinese culture and calligraphy. It uses blue and white brush strokes and traditional signature seal designs which are most recognizable on traditional Chinese porcelain vases.
Taiwan singer, Jay Chou (鍛ㄦ澃浼), has also sung a song dedicated to this unique vase.
If you happen to pass by one, please snap a pic for me. Thanks much!
